I don’t know if I want to feel the soft touch of intimacy again,
It might burn as before,
Tears I would shed,
And dissolve into a puddle on the ground,
To bury myself in another’s body,
To have that permission,
To give that permission,
To meld with another,
So sweet but so new,
Again.
